Our Story
West Lynn Garden was established in 1981 on land originally owned by the Eden Garden Society. Since then our passionate volunteers have nurtured this space into a flourishing oasis, filled with vibrant plants, protected heritage trees, sub-tropical gardens and a cherished and popular butterfly house.
We are an independent, community-driven organisation committed to preserving the Garden’s beauty for everyone to enjoy. Our aim is to provide an attractive, inclusive and welcoming environment for the public to enjoy for relaxation, recreation, reflection, education and socialising. Every visit, membership and donation directly supports the ongoing care and development of this special sanctuary.
Planning A Visit?
Due to the Garden’s popularity for group visits and functions, bookings are required for groups of 10 or more. To make a booking, please visit our Contact page and provide details such as the number of visitors, preferred date and any special requirements. Additional charges apply for professional photography or filming—please contact us for more information.
Accessibility: Most areas, including the butterfly house, are wheelchair, mobility scooter and pushchair accessible.
We look forward to welcoming you!
