What are the times available for venue hire?

8am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday.

Is amplified music permitted? 

Due to our location with close neighbours, we do not support loud, amplified music.  Background music is fine. 

Can we bring our own catering? 

Yes - BYO catering is welcome. 

Is alcohol permitted on the premises? 

Bringing your own beverages (including liquor) is welcome, however they must be consumed within the hired space. 

Do we need to apply for a liquor licence?

If you are serving liquor to guests at no charge then you would not need a liquor licence, however if you intend to sell liquor you would need obtain a liquor licence.

Is smoking and vaping allowed within the Garden?

Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the Garden or in the carpark.  This can be done outside the main gate. 

Are dogs allowed in the garden? 

Only guide or service dogs are permitted. 

Are bouncy castles allowed?

Our Function Lawn and Butterfly House Lawn have power supply for bouncy castles.  We do not permit the use of bouncy castles inside the Function Room.

Is there a power supply outside?

We have a power supply for the Function Lawn and Butterfly House Lawn. 

Do we do our own cleaning after our event? 

Professional cleaners are compulsory for social events. They vacuum the carpet, mop the floor and clean the bathrooms.  The hirer is expected to wipe down all surfaces including the kitchen bench, fridge, oven and furniture.  Hirers must take all rubbish away with them.

How much is the cleaning fee?

The fee is $95.00 per booking.

Would it be possible to have a BBQ? 

We have a BBQ available for hire, to be used on the Function Lawn. 

Can we have assistance with putting up the gazebo(s)? 

Upon adequate notice we can supply one or two volunteers to assist with the gazebo(s).

Can decorations be delivered the day prior to our event? 

Please discuss your proposed arrangements with our Office and Events Manager, Carol.

Do you have outdoor tables and chairs available for hire?

Yes - we have three outdoor trestle tables and 75 outdoor chairs available for hire. They are $20.00 per booking with a refundable bond of $40.00 for the tables and $20.00 per booking with a refundable bond of $40.00 for the chairs.

Is there off-street parking?

Yes - we have over 20 off-street parks on site.

Do you have baby changing facilities on site?

Yes - we have two dedicated baby changing tables, one inside the Function Room bathroom and one in the outdoor toilet block.

Does the Garden have wheelchair, mobile scooter and pushchair access?

We have one dedicated accessible car park close to the pedestrian entrance to the Garden. You are welcome to use your wheelchair, mobility scooter or pushchair within the Garden as most paths are accessible. We have wheelchair accessible bathrooms both inside our Function Room and in our outdoor toilet block.

Are we allowed confetti in the Garden?

Rose petals are allowed but must be removed after your event. No rice or confetti please.

Are party canons or balloons allowed?

They can be used but all the remnants must be removed after your event.
